USU vs SUU

Another game, another win. This one came pretty esaily after the second half. It was a little scary in the first half with the aggies only leading by 8 or so. Coach Morrill said some things in the locker room, and the aggies never looked back.

The aggies got an amazing preformance from Pooh and freshman Presten Medlin. They both had 17 points and shot the lights out! I was very impressed with their game last night. They did great.

It was a very slow first half for all, Tai and Nate only scored a couple of baskets and three rebounds between the two in the first half. All of that changed in half no. 2. They took the show on the boards and brought the house down. Very impressed.

Jared, had an off night scoring wise, but did had out 6 assists. I am not to worried with his off night of scoring. He'll be back.

Everyone on the roster played at least 5 minutes, and nobody played more than 26. It was great preformance by all last night.

Wednesday brings the biggest test of the year, when YBU rolls into town. Oh, boy! I am excited and kinda nervous. I hope the aggies can show them the true meaning of playing basketball.

Utah State vs Idaho State

Pooh Williams is back and is in the starting line up! I am so happy! It felt great to see him out there he did a great job! He scored 8 points and played 20 minutes. I think him starting helped this team feel more complete. Not that I don't like Brian Green and is ablity to play the game but I think he preformed better coming off the bench.

We had solid prefromances from everyone last night. It was a great game. Tai finally played the way I have expecting him to play. I think Stew was also waiting for a game like that from Tai as well.

Nate Bendall didn't like he has in the past, becuase he was in the hospital after the game in Northeastern. But, he can still play with a lot of heart and plays very hard.

Jared had another solid preformance. He will be ready for every game no doubt about that.

Newbold, hit some great shots and was great on defence as always.

Jaxon Myaer, Brady Jardine, Matt Formanisano, played the most off the bench. They did very well.

Overall this was a great game! I love the Spectrum.

Utah State @ Northeastern

They did a great job of giving the game, again. Northeastern never lead in the game untill the end. The aggies ended up giving away their 15 point lead and loose by 3. What a preformance?! I ask my self "why am I an aggie basketball fan?" or "why do I still listen to the post-game show." Questions that often puzzle me. I don't understand why they stopped playing Aggie Basketball. They had a 19-4 lead, and Stew changed stuff up allowing them to get back into the game. They aggies then did nothing to try to regain the lead and try to win. They had horrible preformances from their wings again. Jared Quayle had 5 points, that is not acceptable, if you are the only senior and the point guard. I don't understand.

We really need Pooh Williams back! He is an vital part of our defense. I really hope they take time to really think about what they have gone through and become the team that everyone is expecting them to become. I really hope they don't do this every night.

I wasn't really that mad with the Utah loss because they deserved it to many turnovers and missed shots. But today? They were playing great and then ran out of gas. Sounds like a Football team that I know!

The aggies come home were hopefully they can keep the home winning streak alive. They play Idaho State on Tuesday.

What a dissapointment! Ahhhh! We had the game and the aggies gave it a way. Coach Morrill said, "We served it on a silver platter for them." Way to put it!

We were playing so well, even in the Huntsman Center. Then Utah went on a 11-0 run. And we had to claw back from there. It also didn't help that we had a lot of turnovers. Jared Quayle even had some silly passes. He even said that they were stupid. In his post game interview he was pretty down. Even though he had a career night of 25 points. He took the game and tried so hard to get the win. I am sad but not mad at there preformance.

One thing I am disapointed about Tai's preformance. He scored 11 in the first half and I thought that he was going to get rollin'. Then he only scored 3 points in the second half.

Tyler Newbold after having a great game at Weber. He had a dismal preformance tonight. 0-6 from the 3. And only 2 points overall!

Stew is very confindent that the aggies will bounce back at Northeastern on Saturday. He also stated that Pooh, might get a few minutes on Saturday. That is also great news.

I think this is a very scrambled post! I apologize. I have scrambled thoughts and I am typing what ever comes to mind!

What a great weekend! Both the men and the women aggie basketballers won. The women defeted the UofU. For the first time in 20 somthing years. That I have to say is impressive. Then the aggie men beat Weber. And Football beat San Jose State.



I was luky enough to get to go to the game. My mom suprised me with the tickets. I got to go with my best friend Haylie. By the way you probably will hear a lot about Haylie on this blog :D

What a busy week! I haven't been able to write and now I have to write about 2 games!

The aggies played well at Weber. Minus the play of our posts. They weren't able to do anything! It was great to see them stick with it and get the win.

USU v.s. Trinity Western

It felt like forever, but I finally got to see the Aggies play. Eight months is way to long for me! I am so happy that I was able to attend the game last night. Even though it wasn't the most exciting of Aggie baksetball games. It was still basketball. I had a blast! I sat with my friend Haylie and we had so much fun. One thing that really hit me was when the team came down the tunnel. There was no Gary Wilkinson to throw the ball up as he came down the tunnel. It kinda made me sad. Anyway here is "Kylie's Take".

I don't think I have seen so many students and fans at a exibition game in my life. It was sweet. The students did something new this game that I had never seen. With ten seconds untill tip-off they started counting down. It was quite funny, and everyone one was yelling. The fans did there usuall chants along with "Jared's winning","Thanks for practice", "Stick to Hokey". And many others. Trinity Western's coach said this about the fans "We came out very shocked. The crowd was very into it at the beginning." I think they were schocked because they played at BYU two days before. That could explain a lot!

The Aggies looked good to me. They looked like they understood and were becoming a team. I am very excited for what this team has to offer. Jared Quyale played like he was incharge. Which is what we need him to do each game. Quyale hit 5 three pointers, and led the team in points with 19. He had an outstanding preformance. I think our defence could be better. In the second half we only scored 21 points and they scored 26. They had a little bit of a let down in the second half. They didn't react well to the half-court trap Trinity Western threw at them. I think the Aggies will be focused this week and will be ready to beat Weber State on Friday.
