My thanks to Coach Morrill

*Note to all readers: For those of you who thought why I love watching Aggie Basketball so much is because there are 5 strong, handsome, basketball players running around on the court throwing a ball into a hoop well you were HORRIFICALLY wrong (OK you weren't that far off some are pretty good-lookin, but that is beside the point)! I love to watch because it is AGGIE BASKETBALL!*

My basketball season is now over and yesterday we had our end of the season evaluations with the coaches. I had mine with Justin and Chalyse, the two "sophomore" coaches. And today I talked with Coach Bates the "freshman coach" but in reality they all were my coaches this season. Anyway, all three of my coaches told me I was one smart basketball player. They told me I probably watch more basketball than anyone on the team. And I purely believe it is because I watch Aggie basketball. What better way to learn basketball than to watch the greatest team, coached by the greatest coach. Other teams probably have better records or championships but, who better to watch than an Aggie Basketball TEAM. The Aggies to me play some of the most precise and accurate basketball known to man. I want to thank Coach Morrill for coaching such great teams for me to watch every year. I learn SO much from watching your team game after game. So Thank You Coach Morrill!

USU vs Wichita St.

Well, I wasn't in attendance last night but I was defiantly there in heart! I was pretty sad that I didn't make it, instead I was cheering on my Lady Grizz basketball players at the first round of the State Tournament. Sadly we lost by 2 points. It was so heart-breaking. But I was able to experience what a true team is like. I was able to see a bunch of girls become a family, which was truly an amazing experience and one I soon won't forget.

I was kept informed on how well they did via text from my friend Haylie. So I assume we did well, and from listening to the post game show with Brady Jardine and Stew that the game was pretty amazing.

I don't know how indivuals did but I do know that our 3 posts all scored in double figures, which is sweet. And Jared Quayle almost had a triple-double and ZERO turnovers! Now that is amazing. Also the Aggies had like 26 baskets to 20 assists or something. That is cool too.

The Aggies right now are playing some of there BEST basketball. Which is what we need. Coach Morrill continues to have quality basketball players that just want to play the game!

I love Aggie basketball!

USU vs. Boise State, SJSU, and LA Tech

Holy Cow! Talk about a busy life! I haven't even had time to write about the past 3 games!

The Aggies in Boise almost gave the game away and it was quite scary. Luckily the Ag's made important field goals and free throws down the stretch.

The Aggies then traveled to San Jose State, were they played a good game. The most significant thing that I remember is that Brady Jardine broke a bone in his cheek. So now he has to wear a mask. Pretty sweet if you ask me. It only makes him look scarier.

The Aggies then came hope to play LA Tech(tied for 2nd in league.) They played a great game, well sorta. The Ag's kinda were streaky in that game and were a little shaky at points during the games. Most importantly the free throw department. If it wasn't for the amazing performance of Pooh Williams the aggies could have well lost that game. Pooh score 15 points in the second half to propel the Ag's to a win. Phew! They now have won 11 straight.

They have the Bracketbuster on Saturday against Witichita State. They are a pretty good team and you can watch the game on ESPN2.

Oh ya, one more thing. The Aggies have one super fan Bill. Look him up in Google or something. He is now know as Shirtless Bill!

USU vs Idaho and Nevada

The Aggies now have 8 in a row! They are rollin' right now, holy cow!

Wednesday they had a late game and that really didn't matter. They played hard the whole game and won handily. The whole team is playing so well together.

Last night the Aggies played against Nevada. Nevada jumped right from the get go, making almost anything they through up to the net. It was kinda annoying, but then the Aggies started rolling and making shots and playing amazing defense.

Last nights game was a lot more different than the past games, where the Aggies have been a huge threat outside. Last night it wasn't working as well as it usually did, so instead they passed it into the posts and worked from there. This was defiantly a wicked game of the battle of the beasts.

Brady Jardine continues to make the crowed get loud and he as A LOT of energy. Here are two examples of what he has done in the last two games: Brady's Pick and Brady's Swat. Enjoy please.

The Aggies I would say have finally figured things out! Lets finish the season Strong!

GO AGGIES!
