This is the post game interviews of the guys. I tried not to cry, but it was hard. I hope you enjoy.
A Season to Remember
I don't really know where to start. There is so much that that I could say about this team and the season that all my thouhts are jumbled up inside my head. Last night I had a lot of emotion and I didn't want to believe that we lost. But today, today I want to think of the great season these guys put on.
First as a Fan:
I can not even put into words the excitement I felt while watching or listening to all the games. The Spectrum is a place that makes me feel SO good. I love cheering you on, because I know you guys want to win EVERY game. You never believe that you will loose. The deafining moments in the spectrum will always be with me. How can you not be a fan of a program that has won 4 straight WAC titles? I am so grateful that I was able to be there for the the net cutting.
As a Student of the Game:
I wish every basketball player could watch and get to know this Aggie team. The boys who wear the Aggie Blue are the a TEAM. I know it sounds cliche, but there is no I in TEAM. And that shows with these guys. They believe they are a team, and nothing anybody does can change that in them. As a basketball player I take in everygame. I learn so much, watching the way they play defense, rebound, execute offense, and listen to the coach. I love that when I watch these guys I know that I will get there 100% effort. As a player that is so important to know that a team and players give there best in tough situations. I am rambaling, I guess becuase of the emotion. I just don't know how to put my thoughts into words, that best describe the greatness of this team.
I have so many memories of this team, and the seniors in general. Here are a few (they are not in any particular order):

- Tai's post moves. Nothing needs to be said here :D
- Tyler Newbold's 100% effort every game.
- Nate Bendall. This guy played through pain all season long. He wasn't even expected to play this season!
- Pooh! Lock down defense and his improvement on the free-throw line. Oh, and his left handed 3 pointer.
- Brian. Favorite player to watch. He flies around the court and always going after the ball and scoring the three like nobody's business.
- Matt. A true team player. Didn't get a lot of minutes but didn't care.
- Brad Brown's towl wipping on the bench.
- Brockeith's ablility to drive to the basket and score. Added so much to this team.
- Walker's dance moves.
- EJ's 3's
- Brady! The posterizing genuis. The dunk at St. Mary's. Hops and his intense energy.
- Morgan Grimm's dunk at the end of the WAC Tounement Championship game.
- My first "date". Best place if you ask me.
- Going to Las Vegas with my BEST friend. It was a dream come true for me.
- Getting the autographs of the players via my darling cousins. They were my decoys so I could get them.
- Tai telling my litte cousin that she was "cute".
- Getting updates of games I missed while sitting on the bench of my own games.
- Living everyday for Gameday.
- Planning my outfits for each game days in advance.
- Wearing Aggie Blue.
- Brian Green's three pointers to send the Aggies into OT vs Hawaii.
- Enjoying every moment of the spectrum
- Getting my picture with the guy who leads all the cheers for the students. Matt :D
- Wild Bill.
- Listening to almost every post game show.
- Chewing Polar Ice gum for good luck.
- Tai Breaking the backboard.
- The second backboard being broken.
- Breaking the century mark.
- Sitting in the greatest student section there is!
I am so grateful for this season. I loved every minute of it (ok, maybe not so much the Idaho game). I think it is so cool, that I was able to watch the winningest Aggie basketball players in school history.
My anticipation for next season has started....what will the Aggies be like next year, who will take the spots that are left empty? I don't think anyone can answer those questions for a couple weeks. I don't want forget these guys too fast...

Thank you to my readers. There aren't many of you, but thanks for reading my random and not organized posts.

USU vs Kansas State
The Aggies were again faced with another tough apponent, and the season is over. It is hard to see the season end, but so goes the world of basketball.
I want to say this, I am not frustrated or mad at this team. How can you when this team went 30-4? Won the regular season champion for the 4th straight year? AND won the Tournement Championship too? This team is one I will always remember, and not for the loss last night.
I will always wonder what would have been the difference had Tai not been in foul trouble. I will also wonder what had it been like if we could have come out and played with a little more fire at the get go and made a few more foul shots. I don't really know. But I can always hope that it would have been different.
The thing that made me content with this game, is this. We didn't fold. The story of this season. We hung in there and didn't let Kansas State get the best of us.
This definatly wasn't what I wanted and it wasn't what the players wanted. But the Aggies are winners in my book.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
We Did it! It was scary, but we did it.
The game is something I will never forget. The emotion after the win was amazing! I can't wait to share with you the pictures from the game.
The only thing I wish was different was the people who sat behind me. They were horrible, they couldn't say one positive thing about what the Aggies were doing. I wanted to turn around and punch them. Every time we did something it was wrong to them. They thought for sure they knew what was right and that Stew's coaching wrong.
Ok enough with that. They were annoying and I am glad we won.
The Aggies kept building a 10 point lead and then letting Boise State come back. I was a little worried that we weren't going to handle another BSU run in the second half. But the Aggies had different plans. All season I have said that this team has grit. They just don't give up. They could have blown it a couple of times last night but they were tough and didn't let anyone bother them.
I LOVE this team. They are so amazing. We had like 5 players score 12 points. That is impressive. Brockeith and Tai held this team together. Nate Bendall, played exceptionally well and I was happy for him. He made some cruical buckets down the stretch. As alwasy Brian Green came in and scored and got the team and the fans rallied up. And What is up with Tai making three's? :D
The crowed was amazing. Everyong was yelling and screaming. I got to go onto the court last night, I was right under the basket when the team walked over to cut down the second net, saldy they didn't get to do it. But I was like 5 feet away from the WHOLE team. Tai actually walked right past me and Haylie. That was pretty cool.
I will probably post pictures of the game sometime this week, if I have time, I am going to have to do a lot of homework this week.
This probably was the best three days of my life, I will never forget it!

I don't really like the fact that we are a 12 seed, I was quite shocked and so were the Aggies when they showed them on TV. They all just stood their and clapped. Oh well. Hopefully they will not lay an egg and come out with fire!

USU vs SJSU (WAC Tournement)
So I am totally loving it that I am here in Las Vegas typing this post! I will give a full account of my experinces another time, right now I need to talk about the aggies.
It was pretty sketchy there for awhile, but they Ags have maturity and they grinded this one out. I was a bundle of nerves all day aticipating the game. Haylie and I probably were a little wacky, but that is expected for this time of year. Tomorrow, I will be nervous, but not quite as bad (I hope).
The thing that got me the most "upset" about this game was the lack of intensity going after the boards. It was hard to watch the Aggies get outrebounded by a mouch "smaller" team. It was painful to put it simply.
San Jose was the hottest team in the WAC, they had won 2 games prior and were rolling. It was nice to see the Aggies shut down their leading scorer. Oliver only scored 16 (he averages 24).
The game was back and forth from the tip. Luckily the Aggies built a little lead in the second half of 10 and for a minute we could breath. Then it got scary.
In the last minute of the Game, Tai could have made it a 4 point game, but he missed the front end of a one-and-one. Oliver took the ball down and was in position to shoot the game winning shot but he was guarded by Tyler Newbold, best defender in the WAC! His shot was off the mark with 3.5 seconds left and Tai got the rebound and was fould. Luckily he hit these ones and the game was over!
In the post game press confrence Tai looked absolutly ticked off, he said the team was happy, but were not satisfied with the win.
It wasn't the prettiest of wins, but we don't win with pretty we win with grit.

p.s. look for me, I am in section 114, straight up from the visiting teams pep band, row 7!

Post Season Awards
This has to be my favorite thing. The feeling when I find out who got what award at the end of the season. It is so exciting for me.
This year it went like this (Exactly like it should have):

- Tai WAC Player of the Year.
- Coach Morrill, Coach of the Year
- Brokeith, First Team All-WAC and All-Newcomer Team
- Brian, 2nd Team All-WAC
- Tyler, All-Defensive Team
I think when a team like the Aggies gets the Player of the year, shows a great deal of respect other coaches and media have for our program. When the leading scorer on a team averages 14 points, says something about the team. Tai is very deserving of this award. I am extatic that it was his. He played very well this season. As did the whole team. We could have filled every award with someone from our team. That is why I love them so much.
I love this team so much because, they don't care about how many points someone gets a game, or the number of rebounds, assists, steals, blocks. They just want the WIN! Listening to the players post game, is evident of that. They could care less about idividual stats, as long as they got another win.
Enough with the mushy stuff....that comes after the last game.
Lets Go Aggies!
USU vs La Tech
Well that was a great game if you were on the right side. The Aggies had this game within the first 5 minutes or so.
Neither team could score at the get go. But then the Aggies would throw down 11 straight points! It was pretty epic.
Pooh's sprained ankle didn't affect his shooting. He hit two three's to start the game and then it was over for La Tech.
They couldn't score. Plain and simple. They shot, but nothing would go in. It must have been super frustrating because they were on their home court! They shot 18% from the field. That is UGLY! I guess it was just a conclusion of the payback tour we have been on this year. Last year we lost by 18 in La Tech. That is sad.
It was nice to see the Aggies finish the road trip on a good note, and not be tired and slow. They looked like they were ready to go.
The Aggies concluded the regular season with a 15-1 record in WAC. That hasn't happened for a while for any WAC school! Pretty impressive if you ask me.

USU at NMSU
Put this one in the books under Ugly.
Ugly in the sense that it was a hard game, and the Crimson Aggies always cause us trouble. We played well considering we were on the road against a good team in a hostile environment. That was until they threw a full court press at us and we kind of lost it for awhile. Luckily we were able to overcome a 7 point deficit and were able to regain the lead.With the help of Tyler Newbold and his clutch three and free throws from Brockeith Pane we were able to seal the deal and win for only the second time in the Pan American Center.
