WOW! That was a quite a game. It was like riding a rollercoaster! The first half the Aggies and the 'Bows were going back and forth score wise. You know me, I like big leads that leave no doubt. Well that was NOT going to happen!
The second half the Ags came out and score a lot of points. Holding a 12 point lead with 8:48 left in the game. Well the 'bows won't die there. They took the lead and the Aggies had to tie the game and send it into over time!
The Aggies trailed again in over time, resulting in a NBA range, seconds remaining, Brian Green 3-pointer to TIE it a AGAIN! The Aggies went into a SECOND overtime. By now the whole house is quite a sleep like they should be and it is 12:20 in the morning. I was tired and scared and listening to Al Lewis was enough to send me into near heart attack mode. It was that intense. It took all I could muster not to scream out with joy that Brian hit that 3! I actually stood up from the floor I was sitting on and sighed really loudly in the hall as I walked to the kitchen and back trying to processes this game. My dad heard me and asked what had happened. I could not believe it!
The second overtime came, and the Aggies went right to Tai, who had a very poor game, and he scored a layup and got fouled. I don't remember if he made the free throw. But it doesn't matter. The Aggies stuck it out, and won the free throw battle long enough to get the epic win.
BRIAN GREEN ROCKS!
SCORE:89-84

USU @ SJSU
The Aggies headed out on a road trip to start the second half of WAC play.
This game was all Brian Green! Holy Cow. He was on fire and went crazy. He scored a career high 25 points on 8-9 shooting.
I really don't remember much of that game because I was sick and I was trying to listen and stay awake. So thats all you will get.
SCORE: 84-65

USU vs NMSU
The Aggies had a two game homestand this weekend. Saturday they were host to the New Mexico State Aggies.
Defense. That is what won this game. The Aggies rebounded the ball well, and played some pretty sweet D. WOW!
The Aggies but the game away at the end of the 1st half when the other Aggies couldn't buy a basket :D
My favorite part of the game was that the students were back! It has been kind of quiet in the Spectrum, but they were there and they were loud! It was so much fun to be in the middle of it!
I have never really like the other Aggies, because they play very physical. There was a lot of bodies on the floor and bleeding. Coach Morrill compared it to a Heavy Weight comptition.
I love Utah State! Life is good!
SCORE: 59-59
RECORD: 18-2 (7-O in the WAC)
Up Next: The Aggies travel to SJSU for a Thursday night game.

USU vs La Tech
Sadly I was not there to see the Aggies play last night. I had a game down in Ogden. The Aggies played well the whole game. During time-outs and things in my game I would signal to my dad across the court to see how the Ags were doing. Well I got a thumbs up the whole time :D that made me happy.
By listening to the last 5 minutes I was able to get the impression that Pane had an outsanding night with 9 assists and 2 turnovers! That is an impressive stat line. I also gathered that Brady Jardine had an awesome reverse dunk. I haven't seen it . But knowing Brady I know it was outstanding.
With the win last night the Aggies broke the record for most consecutive WAC wins with 20. The previous holder with 19: Utah. That is pretty impressive if you ask me. And a lot of those games have been on the road. I am proud of these guys.
Good game, wish I cold have been in the Spectrum!

Road Trip!
USU at Nevada
The Aggies headed out to Reno, to play against the Wolfpack. The Aggies scared me a bit during the game. They got down by 14 or so points but dug deep and won the game. This game impressed me the most because the Ags didn't get discouraged. They played smart basketball and rallied to win a game. This was a good road win.
SCORE: 81-67
USU at Boise St
The Aggies headed up to Boise to play the last unbeated team in the WAC. The Aggies came out and proved that they are No.1 in the WAC. The team is playing better and they are shooting the ball at a better precentage rate. I knew these guys would get there, it just took longer than in the past.
SCORE: 68-59
USU at Fresno St.
The final road game for the Aggies came in Fresno. Were they played well the whole game and came out with a victory. The Aggies playe some pretty solid defence, which has been a strong spot of this Aggie team all season.

USU vs SJSU
Second game of the WAC and the Aggies looked a little sad. I was not really impressed by the preformance of the Aggies. It felt like the Ags weren't really playing to their best ability. That being said they found a way to win so I should be happy. To me the Aggies just don't look like they have the heart to go and win the WAC for the 4th time. It won't be a peice of cake for Aggies, I hope they get it together soon. I have a feeling that they will, they have Stew Morrill for a coach. They will learn, I just hope it is sooner rather than later.
A win is a win. No matter what.
The Aggies go on a long road trip for the next couple of games. So I won't be able to see them play for a while. Sad day.
Score: 71-80
