USU vs UC San Diego (Exibition #1)

First "game" of the season and a lot of mistakes but it was nice to see the team play! I was just giddy with excitment!

The biggest suprise was the new uniforms the team debuted last night. I was a little leary of them at first, but I think they fit nicely. "New" Team, new uniforms.
Here area couple of views of the new uniforms:

I was really impressed last night of the guy wearing #15, new guy Mitch Bruneel. He is a hustle player! I really liked his play. I can't wait to see him develope.

I also loved the play of Adam Thosby, new guy from England. Great shooter and a another hustler.

It was great to see Preston Medlin back on the court. The speedy little guy was all over the place.

I know that the team we played will be nothing like the teams we will play the rest of the season, but it was comforting to know that this team will develope. Talent is there, we just have to figure out how put it all together!

Blue vs White Game

I feel like a slacker because I didn't write about this game, but in reality there wasn't much to talk about. It was probably the worst game I have seen. It was great though to see the team play and kinda get a fell for what to expect for this year.

I am pretty positive that what I saw is NO indication of what to expect. I really hope!

Preseason Rankings

This is pretty sad, if a week later I am finally getting around to writing a post about the WAC Basketball Media Day! But better late than never right?

I was kinda shoked whith the polls this year. The media thinks there is still a strong core of the basketball team coming back. So, they picked us to be first again. Which I wouldn't mind if that comes true. To be honest though, this team is going to go through some serious growing pains. In interview with Coach Morrill he said that after asking every player who had EVER checked into an Aggie basketball game to stand. Five players stood up. That could be scary for some. I am confident in the leaders for this team, they want to be the best. The Coaches poll, for me was probably more accurate. The picked the Aggies to be third. I think that is a more realistic approach, considering the youth of this team.

Brockieth Pane was picked as Media Player of the Year, which is probably a good canidate for this. I am excited, to see what he will do this year being the go to guy from day one. I am confident that he will come with the same attitude to everygame as he did last year. That is just win.

Brady Jardine was picked to the media All-WAC first team and second team from the coaches. The great thing about Brady is that he knows the system so well. He is a four year senior who has been around the program from quite some time. He is ready to play and his main focus is to just have fun. He wants to just play basketball and not worry about anything else.

I am excited for the season, somehow it snuck up on me and I can hardly beleive that it is that time of year again! Bring it on Aggies! Lets make it 5 WAC Championships!

So it begins....

Here were are again, another season of Aggie basektball is right around the corner. I couldn't be happier! Practice started yesterday and as expected it was a little rough. A whole new look this year to the Aggie team will have quite a few fans wondering what to expect this year. Me, personaly, am very excited but I don't know if I am ready to see the team come out the tunnel with out Tai, Tyler, Pooh, Nate, Matt and Brian. It is just a bit scary to think about.

But as many people have said, "In Stew we Trust!" So, I am not going to worry about such things as that, and believe in this team. I mean we still have Brady!
