A WAC Champion

*Warning: I step away from basketball to bring you this write up of Aggie Football*

I debated if I should attach this entry with the write up about the basketball games, but came to the conclusion that they need their own well deserved shout out.

I am pretty sure Aggie Nation has quadrupled in size in the past 24 hours and rightly so. The football team has been for quite some time the laughing stock of college football in the state of Utah and it is a beautiful beautiful thing to finally have the sweet taste of success.

Last nights unofficial "WAC Championship Game" was the talk of the town for two weeks. It was crazy. The University even hosted  a Watch Party for all Aggies in the Spectrum Saturday afternoon for the game. I debated long and hard as to weather I was going to go up and watch it with other Aggies or enjoy it from the comforts of my home. Personally I was to scared of what might happen to me if I went up and watched it and we lost....I would have been a total mess. Ok, I was a total mess at home at the end of this game. Never in my life has the "miracle" happened to my Aggies. It always seams everything is going right then BOOM we loose. Not yesterday! Holy Moly, I was ecstatic. To witness the first conference championship at USU since 1937 is somethin' else. I mean, next Saturday we have the chance to have a record of 10-2! 10-2!

I love being an Aggie. I am so glad I had great examples of a Dad, Brother, and Uncles who have stuck with the Aggies for so many years and taught me patience.

Last night I joined in with around 300 people to welcome the Aggies home back to Logan at the airport. That was a beautiful sight to behold. These Aggies have inspired the next generation to stick with Aggie Nation.

Oh, by the way. The Aggies broke the Top 25 today. The AP voted us in as the 25th best team in the Nation!!! That is one beautiful thing.

  2. Most definitely a true Aggie fan. I'm glad you were able to convince Mugs to go with you since I wouldn't. :)
